FLIR T540 (42˚ Lens)

The FLIR T540 is designed for professionals working in power generation, power distribution and manufacturing. It measures temperature between -20˚C and 1500˚C via its 464 x 348 pixel infrared sensor. Thermal sensitivity of just 30mK means that temperature variations of just 0.03˚C can be displayed on screen and the 42˚ wide angle lens allows extensive inspections over large areas to be completed very quickly.
The most prominent physical feature of the FLIR T540 is its rotating optical block which can swivel 180˚, thus allowing the user to keep his/her eyes on the screen whilst turning the camera to look at something above or below. This is especially useful in the challenging environments associated with the imager’s primary target industries. The vibrant colour touch screen has a wide range of different palettes and facilitates simple operation through the intuitive interface. 
Laser distance measurement gives an immediate indication as to the accessibility of a faulty component or anomalous heat pattern and the camera can perform remote area measurement, thus indicating the severity of a problem amongst other useful applications. The FLIR T540 also has a time lapse feature which enables continuous observation of a site over 24 hours. 
1 to 6x digital zoom allows the user to zero in on unusual thermal patterns in order to ascertain their cause whilst additional MSX® image enhancement uses detail from the FLIR T540’s integrated digital camera to make thermal images more representative of target systems. Laser-assisted auto focus ensures that images are always clear and the user also benefits from spot recognition, alarms and a picture-in-picture display.
In order to supplement thermal image files, the FLIR T540 can communicate over Bluetooth with compatible FLIR test and measurement equipment to add quantitive readings. Files are saved to an 8GB removable SD card and these can be transferred to a PC or smart device using a USB cable or the camera’s local Wi-Fi network. A transport case and various accessories are included as standard and FLIR offer an industry leading 2-10 year warranty.

Patented multi-spectral dynamic imaging provides digital image detail from the visible light camera onto the thermal image. This makes it so much easier to identify the image visually and thus improving work efficiency.

Transmits FLIR Test and Measurement data onto the camera via Bluetooth. This further validates your thermal image by adding additional quantified information.
