FLIR E50bx

"Building inspection camera with dew point & insulation alarms."

The FLIR E50bx Infrared Camera provides thermographers with a highly sensitive inspection camera that enables building diagnostics to be quickly and clearly displayed on an improved 240 x 180 pixel display. The higher resolution provided by the Flir E50bx means that temperature data will be much more accurate, helping to pinpoint exactly where the fault lies.

240 x 180 Image Resolution
The E50 provides higher quality thermal images for a more detailed & accurate IR inspection.
High Thermal Sensitivity & Measurement Accuracy
The E50 detects 0.05°C temperature differences on its -20 to 120°C range with 2% accuracy.
Touch Screen
A 3.5” touch screen allows measurement spots/boxes to be quickly added to IR images.
Built-in Digital Camera
High quality 3.1 Megapixel visible light camera with LED lamp speeds up inspections.
Wi-Fi
Transfer thermal images wirelessly to an Apple iPhone or iPad for further analysis.
MeterLink Technology
Transfer data from an Extech moisture meter into the E50bx and add onto infrared images.
Picture-in-Picture
Overlay infrared images onto visible light images to quickly locate faults and anomalies.
Thermal Fusion
Merge visual and infrared images for more accurate thermal analysis and inspection reports.
Humidity & Insulation Alarms
Measurement tools specific to building inspections alert to condensation & insulation issues.

A thermographic survey of a building using the E50bx camera will enable the user to detect problems with insulation, moisture, air leaks, thermal bridges and reasons for poor efficiency within solar photovoltaic panels.

The FLIR E50bx thermal camera offers Wi-Fi connectivity so that images can be wirelessly transferred from the camera to mobile devices for further thermal analysis and the creation of inspection reports for sharing with clients and colleagues.

MeterLink technology also enables wireless communication with an Extech MO297 Moisture Meter, allowing data from the meter to be added to infrared images for more comprehensive inspection reports.

With extended measurement tools including humidity and insulation alarms and thermal analysis features such as thermal fusion, the Flir E50bx thermal imaging camera is a powerful tool when scanning both the interior and exterior of buildings for faults with the fabric of the structure and is supported with excellent reporting and analysis functions.
