The FLIR E8 is a high quality thermal camera that offers powerful imaging capabilities and advanced analysis features while still retaining simple operation and an intuitive user interface.

With a fantastic 320 x 240 thermal resolution the FLIR E8 has image quality suitable for a whole host of applications ranging from electrical and HVAC inspections to building surveys. Further enhancing the E8’s suitability for building inspections is the fixed 45 degree lens which gives a greater field of view. Ideal when there isn’t room to step back, this allows users to capture the whole building from a much closer distance.

The FLIR E8 thermal camera is equipped with FLIR’s patented MSX imaging feature that provides a real-time fusion of digital and thermal images to add texture and enhance details, making fault location a much quicker process. In addition, the E8 has hot and cold spot recognition modes where areas that fall above or below a user defined temperature threshold are clearly highlighted on the image, particularly useful for alerting to overheating components on electrical circuits and blocked or broken pipes.

The superb image quality and thermal accuracy present users with minute details invisible to the naked eye, making the FLIR E8 thermal imaging camera the perfect tool for visualising problems with insulation, discovering air leaks and inspecting underfloor heating.
